Donna Oates - Community Centre Co-ordinAtor

Donna joined SMCC as the the centre co-ordinator in 2001. Since then, she has been responsible for the transformation of the centre from being an under utilised building to one which is now fully thriving and a number one venue choice for private functions and events. Her in depth experience in administration and management has meant that the bookings are run seamlessly and challenges are dealt with in an efficient and robust manner.

eric edwards - community centre caretaker

Eric has been the centre’s caretaker since 2011. He provides hands on assistance for events as well as working alongside the co-ordinator to ensure the general upkeep of the building and garden are maintained.

With a strong work ethic and commitment to helping others, Eric is always ready to assist any which way he can and always with a smile!

Eccelton jarrett - community centre caretaker (weekend)

Eccelton is the centre’s part-time caretaker and has been with SMCC since 2011. He helps with the set up and clearing up of the weekend events.

denise pessoa - volunteer

Denise volunteers at the community centre on a part time basis covering the reception desk.

Experienced in customer service, Denise helps with enquiries and also assists the caretaker at private events.

CHEVON EDWARDS - PROJECT MANAGER

Chevon has been working for SMCC since January 2019. An experienced event manager and passionate about community engagement, Chevon will be heading all community events such as St Martins annual Black History Month programme and their Family Fun Day.
